Problem

Progression within the team is currently evaluated only during performance reviews. Badges will help reduce the stagnation between perf reviews, and incentivise people to continue upskilling, even beyond their core project scope. This is also a way to encourage new hires to seek out subject matter experts in areas they are unfamiliar with.
